How we think

We see the forecourt as one system.

Commercial vehicles register with us, every passage is recorded, and every passage is billed at the airport's rates. Access, flow and revenue in one place.

How it works

Rules in the cloud. Control at the gate.

Airport business rules live in TMS. Our own Fast Travel Local controller drives the equipment at every lane.

Rules
TMS

Operator registration, access permissions, tariffs, sanctions and invoicing. Each passage becomes a billing record at the applicable rate.

Control
Fast Travel Local controller

It opens the barriers and reads plates and tags. It keeps local authorisation lists, so if the server link drops it keeps reading plates and tags and opening the barrier for vehicles already on that list. New registrations and bookings wait until the link is back.

1Register

Operators and vehicles sign up once. Permissions follow the airport's rules.

2Pass

ANPR and RFID identify each vehicle at the barrier. Authorised in real time; the rest are held.

3Bill

Every passage is invoiced at the applicable rate, with sanctions enforced under the airport's agreements.

What we did for Avinor

We pitched something new for the curbside.

Booking kiosks, designed to help the traveler. Then came the side effects.

  • More taxi trips than forecast
  • Taxi prices stabilized
  • Fewer complaints

Why it worked

We bridged the trust gap.

People like to feel in control.

Flow design

Fast Travel is flow design.

Waiting moves out. The curb is for pickup. Drop-off gets its own lane.

Operations

We don't just supply it. We run it.

Under our Avinor contract we are responsible for access control, enforcement, call-forward and invoicing on the forecourt, around the clock.

A staffed operations centre, 24 hours a day.

First assessment and action within 15 minutes, with technical escalation behind it.

Enforcement under the airport's rules.

We enforce each airport's passage agreements and the sanctions it defines.

Buses called up with the flight.

Drivers book, get a platform, and are called forward after passengers clear baggage claim. Billed by plate on arrival.
